From 13 to 19 October 2026, I'm leading a yoga programme at the beautiful 4-star Hotel Sentido Fido Punta del Mar, perched high on a rocky plateau with a stunning view of the sea and the bays of Paguera and Santa Ponsa.

Over five days, I'll offer a variety of yoga classes so you can put together your own programme: dynamic and powerful, calm and meditative, creative-modern or traditional – entirely as the mood takes you.

All levels are welcome, so you can bring along previous experience or simply gain some new experience while you're there.

Alongside the programme, by the way, there's plenty of time left for the pool, the beach, or excursions around the island.

What matters to me is creating a space that feels light and easy, without pressure and without rigid expectations – simply arrive, settle nicely into movement, feel good, and shape the rest of your holiday however you like.

T H E  H O T E L

Anyone stepping into the Fido Punta del Mar senses it immediately: here, time is allowed to flow a little more slowly. The modern 4-star property, decorated entirely in warm, light tones, is reserved exclusively for adults – a place of calm, free of hustle and bustle, devoted entirely to pausing and taking things in.

Every room opens up to the sea. From the balcony or terrace, the view wanders out across the water, while inside everything is ready for you to simply let go: freshly renovated, thoughtfully furnished, with air conditioning against the midday heat and a cool minibar for that first sip after arrival.

Outside, a garden of stillness awaits. The freshwater pool sparkles in the sun, a second, smaller pool invites a quieter moment, and at the pool bar the afternoon can be dreamed away over a cool drink. Sun loungers and parasols are ready and waiting, offering a comfortable spot under the Mallorcan sun.

When evening comes, the doors open to two restaurants and a bar where stories and glasses get filled in equal measure. And for anyone wanting to dive a little deeper, the indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, or gym offer exactly what body and mind are looking for after a fulfilling day.

T H E   L O C A T I O N

The hotel sits on a rocky plateau high above the sea, with views over the bays of Paguera and Santa Ponsa. A staircase leads directly from the hotel down to the water, for anyone who'd rather experience the sea up close than just from the terrace.

Anyone after a bit more company will find small restaurants, bars, and shops around 500 metres away. The centre of Santa Ponsa, with its main beach, is about a kilometre away – a walk that still feels good even after a relaxed day.

From there, the local bus makes it easy to continue on: to the island's capital, Palma, to nearby Paguera, or to the quieter Port d'Andratx, in case you'd like to see a bit more of Mallorca on one of the days.

Y O G A   C L A S S E S

HATHA VINYASA

In this class we combine two of the best-known yoga styles: Hatha stands for stability and the conscious holding of individual poses, while Vinyasa brings movement and flow by linking each pose to the breath. We begin with a short meditation to arrive on the mat, move into a gentle warm-up, and then flow through the asanas (yoga poses). Towards the end, the flow is interrupted by individual, unconnected asanas, until we arrive at the final relaxation, Savasana.

MORNING YOGA

We start the morning with breathing exercises that clear the mind, bring freshness, and ease the way into the meditation that follows. The meditation itself brings calm and grounding to the start of the day. Afterwards, we flow through a series of asanas that wake up the body and leave behind a sense of freedom.

HATHA VINYASA - BACKBENDS & HEART OPENERS

Here the focus is on backbends and heart openers. Backbends strengthen the flexibility of the spine and the entire back musculature, and can help release tension and prevent back pain. Heart openers stretch the chest muscles, the front of the shoulders, and the neck – areas that are often shortened and tense from everyday life. At the same time, they have the potential to release blockages not only physically, but also on a deeper level.

HATHA VINYASA DETOX

In this class we work intensively with twists, meaning rotations of the torso. The twisting motion temporarily slows the flow of lymph and blood along the spine, so that releasing the twist sweeps everything along with it – blockages are released and flushed away. At the same time, the twists massage the internal organs in the abdomen; the liver, kidneys, and digestive organs are gently stimulated and supported in their natural detoxification work. A class that cleanses from the inside out.

HATHA VINYASA - HIP OPENERS

In yoga, the hips are considered an emotional storage place – stress, tension, and unprocessed feelings tend to settle there. Creativity and joy of life are also said to have their seat here. In this class we focus specifically on opening and releasing the hip muscles. Deep hip openers stretch the hip flexors, the external rotators, and the groin area – muscles that are often chronically shortened from prolonged sitting. Letting go in these poses can bring not only physical relief, but also set something in motion emotionally and creatively.

HATHA VINYASA - SHOULDERS & NECK

Shoulders and neck are closely connected – tension in one area almost always transfers to the other. Neck tension is among the most common physical complaints of all and is often directly linked to headaches and restricted mobility. In this class we focus specifically on these two areas through gentle mobilisation, targeted stretches, and conscious breathwork. In yoga, the neck carries not only the head, but often also the weight of responsibility and pressure. Letting go in these poses can bring release, both physically and on a deeper level.

POWER VINYASA

In this class we turn the intensity up a notch. Through creative flows with more dynamism and momentum, we warm the body from the inside out and discover together what's possible. An invitation for anyone who enjoys challenging their body a little more.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga consciously invites body and mind to rest. By holding asanas for a long time and passively, we reach a depth that active practice cannot achieve – because as long as the muscles are engaged, the stretch stays on the surface. In Yin Yoga, we let go, and the stretch finds its way into the deep tissue. A practice for winding down the day, which can improve sleep quality and lead to deep mental relaxation.
